Friday, December 27, 2002 The race is over, apparently. The first human being has been cloned. A cult known as the Raelian sect, in association with a group known as Clonaid, claims to have cloned a human baby girl, which they have named Eve. No proof has yet been given to back this claim but the Raelians say scientists will be allowed to verify the cloning with DNA tests shortly.
