Notes from a small island A weblog by Jonathan Ali |
Monday, February 03, 2003 For my Trinidadian readers: Caribbean Contemporary Arts (CCA) is assisting the village of Grande Rivière in setting up a community library, and are soliciting book donations. New and used books, fiction and non-fiction, for adults and children are all welcome. There will be a collection of books this coming Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at CCA, when the artist Laura Anderson Barbata, who has been working out of Grande Rivière recently, will give a talk on her work there. Books can also be dropped off at any time at CCA. The address: Building 7, Fernandes Industrial Centre, Eastern Main Road, Laventille. Tel. 625 1889 or 625 6805. posted by Jonathan | 3:57 PM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
