Notes from a small island A weblog by Jonathan Ali |
Friday, July 04, 2003 Well, this has to be a record: the blacklisting of the five secondary schools by the National Library, which went into effect yesterday, came to an end today, because - wait for it - the school term ends today. Being in no way clued-up on the academic calendar, I wasn't thinking of that when I blogged about the issue yesterday. But surely the library people knew that, which makes this two day blacklisting rather absurd. Anyway, all parties concerned have said they now have two months to put their heads together and come up with some solutions to the problem. I suppose they believe that the offending students won't be patronising the library during the long vacations. posted by Jonathan | 1:27 PM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
